Ordinarily, Clear Skies Aerial Photography
endeavors to maintain full ownership (All
Rights) of the images that we capture and
sell, and our standard pricing is based on
that policy. As owner of the images, we
license the buyer to unlimited use of the
images, which allows the client to use them
for any of their own purposes (except resale)
for an unlimited time. By retaining our rights
and ownership of the images, we have the
potential for receiving additional revenue
through the resale of our images, or utilize
them for marketing purposes. All
photographs taken and sold by Clear Skies
Aerial Photography carry a discrete
copyright notice which not only serves as a
mark of ownership, but also as a form of
advertising for our services.
However, we also understand that some of
our clients are interested in obtaining All
Rights to the images that we collect for
them, for any number of reasons. Under
such conditions, Clear Skies ceases to own
the images, the copyright tag line is not
included, and we forfeit our ability to resell
or otherwise use the images for advertising
purposes. To help offset the potential loss of
resale value and advertising benefits, Clear
Skies adds a 50% surcharge to the price
when clients are interested in obtaining All
Rights privileges for the images.
